Attention JFK 5th graders!

Here is the video to help you with your Silver medal like I promised! Remember there will be no testing for silver medals the week after vacation. If you would like to challenge yourself and learn the harder version of The Blue Danube on page 17, go for it!

Students who need to retest for their Bronze medal, February vacation is a great time to get caught up!

First Compositions!

A student today raised her hand and said, "I was born to sing!" It's true! We are all born to sing! Kindergarten students and I have been working on vocal exploration to find our singing voices.

We talked about how composers write music and then each child created their own composition. Mozart was composing music when he was only 5! We then took turns singing each others compositions. Compositions should be in your child's take home folder today!
